About #SavetheFrontline

The #SavetheFrontline mission is to purchase, consolidate and distribute personal protective equipment (PPE) to healthcare workers and face coverings to underserved and at-risk communities.

COVID-19 is disproportionately impacting low-income and at-risk communities. Social-distancing is unavailable to those living by the paycheck, working in essential jobs, and dwelling in packed apartment buildings. Frontline fighters in public healthcare facilities — committed to serving all New Yorkers —  struggle to save NY’s most vulnerable communities — and protect themselves. By creating accessible, safe, and visible distribution channels and pick-up locations through partnerships with local community centers, health clinics, religious institutions, food banks, and homeless shelters, #SavetheFrontline seeks to mitigate existing inequities and help stem the fast-moving and deadly spread of COVID-19.

It is our fundamental and moral responsibility to ensure the equitable care and preservation of our diverse and underserved communities — especially now.

It is who we are.

We are NY Strong.

We are a mission-based platform, working with various partners to help protect healthcare workers and residents in underserved communities. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. All contributions are made through our 501(c)(3) financial partner organization, the Michael Magro Foundation. All donations go towards helping the frontline healthcare workers and residents in at-risk communities access the protective gear, supplies, and services they need most.
